EZYDOG Slip Collar - Limited Choke Collar for Dog Training & Puppy Training

Checkmate is a so-called martingale collar. Thanks to its unique design, Checkmate choke collars react immediately to every tug – ideal for training your dog or puppy. Checkmate is a choke collar with a stop mechanism for dogs that pull strongly on the leash. It functions as both a slip and click collar, as it is also equipped with a robust plastic buckle.

The practical quick-clip buckles and the two loops that create a slip collar allow for quick and easy on and off. The rustproof stainless steel D-ring also provides added security for daily walks. WHAT IS A MARTINGAL - A LIMITED CHOKE BAND?

A martingale collar allows you more control over your dog without the choking effect of a choke collar. Essentially, this retriever collar is a limited-slip choke collar. When the martingale collar fits correctly, it's comfortable and loose. Your dog won't notice it—until they start pulling. A martingale slip collar is made with two loops. The larger loop is slipped over the dog's neck, and a leash is attached to the smaller loop. When the dog tries to pull, the tension on the leash tightens the smaller loop. This reduces the size of the larger loop, making it fit more snugly around the dog's neck. So, they feel the pressure of the martingale collar—but without having their air supply restricted.

The unique design of the Checkmate choke collar prevents the dog's head from slipping out. This gives you the best possible control over your pet – during hikes, training, or when the dog is very excited.
